7 yr auction was good

Following the solid 2 yr note auction and the more mixed 5 yr, today’s 7 yr was good. The yield of 4.162% was just below the when issued of 4.166%. The bid to cover of 2.64 was above the previous one year average of 2.54. Direct and indirect bidders took 91% of the auction, the most since last June.
